Software Development Estimated Timeline
The following is an average timeline for a mobile application project. It is important to keep in mind that each project is different based on a number of factors.
Week 1-2, 10 days
Creation of App Wireframes
A complete wireframing of the app shall be created by understanding the requirements of the app. This will be a complete flow of the app in white and black.
Week 1-2, 10 days
Decide on colors & Design a logo
We will complete this step in conjunction with the wireframes.
Week 3- 4, 10 days
App UI/UX Designs
The look and feel of the app, and other UI elements of the app shall be designed and frozen.
Week 5-6, 10 days
Architecture Designs
Based on the wireframe and app detailing, technical documentation for the project and the backend architecture shall be created.
Week 6-7, 10 days
App Module 1 Static Screen Designs
A few screens that form the core/basic of the app shall be designed and coded. The actual functionality might not work at this stage but shall show of how app will run on phone.
Week 8-9, 10 days
App Module 1 Development
Built up version of the app with core UI set and API's implemented. This is will be able to show and test how app core functionality works.
Week 10-11, 10 days
App Module 2 Static Screen Design
Additional screens design and iterations on the module 1 app design and functionality.
Week 12-15, 20 days
App Module 2 Development
Built up version of the app all features of the app majorly built with more focus on the testing and detailing of the app.
Week 16 - 17, 10 days
Finalization of the MVP V1
Making app ready for beta release and final test to release app on store. Additional web admin related work V1.
Week 18 - 19, 10 days
Web Admin Panel Completion and App Bug Fixes
One last sweep of all the code along with app testing finalization.
Week 20
Release to the World
Launch.
